She pouted. "But father..." She whined, tugging on his arm, urgency ringing clear in her voice, she hoped it wasn't noticeable. She was so concerned for Anthony's welfare. She wanted him alive. She was selfish, she wanted him for herself, alive, even though she knew Heaven was a much better place, but she could never join him, for she was sure she would be going to Hell... It would be better than her life at the moment, she though. "Please, dearest, father... Let it be."

He felt bad because he knew that Johanna knew that he was going to get yelled at, maybe pushed around. He could hear her desperation in her voice be decided to let her not know that he noticed it for, he knew that she was trying to hide it. He wanted her just to go inside or just let him be. Sure he loved her but, business was business. "Johanna, you know how I have always said, justice is what justice is? Well, justice needs to be seen here" He said whispering to the beautiful girl. She was everything his heart desired but, he had to refuse her this time. He just couldn't let this be. He yanked his hand away from her, as gentle as he could be.

//thanks, btw! ive gotten passed most of the pain. It seems rather childish, i know, to let it hurt me like it did, but he was...something special, thats for sure.
Anthony felt his mind reeling. This was too unexpected; the Judge to come home early! His hand still in his pocket, he took one step further. "Please, sir i mean no harm, but you must let her go. "

// Oh, hon. Don't let it get to you. It'll hurt for a few weeks, but after that you just gotta keep on trucking through school. Don't let him know he hurt you. Makes them feel good, for some reason, you know?
Johanna crossed her arms. She hadn't been refused anything before, not by her father... She just stood there, looking as if she were about to cry. She wasn't hurt that much, not in the least... but, it would help her cause to help her sailor if she was making a scene. She always had wanted to be an actress anyhow... She got on her knees and held onto his leg. "Father, this is making me terribly depressed.

//I know, i've gotta move on. The thing is, he knows he hurt me. The even weirder thing, he was crying cause of it. He still wants to be friends; but right now we're spending some time apart from each other to let the wounds heal.
Anthony couldn't help but crack a smile. He knew that the Judge couldn't resist Johanna's needs. His hand remaining in his pocket for safety, he watched the scene unfold.

When Johanna was about to cry he felt instantly bad. How could she feel so strongly about him? She couldn't have known him long. He looked over at him. "Mark my words sir." He said, then gave a wink to the beadle signaling for him to do...ya know.
He looked down at the 15 year old tugging on his pants like a 5 year old. "I am sorry dearest." He said, smiling at the girl. "I will leave him to be. Let's go inside now" He said, kindly

But Anthony wasn't about to take another beating from a rat like Bamford. "Turpin I'll give you one last chance to step back and let her go..." He knew he was risking his face, but for Johanna, for her freedom, for something that no one in London had ever had the guts to do, it was chance he was willing to take.

She nodded. "Yes, Papa." She rose and and took his arm, pulling him into the house. She felt triumphant that she had pulled him away from Anthony. little did she know the cruel things he would have Beadle do to him. As soon as he was in the house, she gave Anthony one last look. A look of repentance and misery before she disappeared into the house.
//Totally understandable, dear.

Anthony couldn't believe it- she had really left him out there to suffer the consequences of his "gandering" But this time, things were going to go his way. As he clutched at the item in his pocket, he felt so sure of it!

Before Turpin dissapeared into the house, the beadle caught his signal. As soon as the young lady and him were inside the house, he looked at Antony in disgust and extended his cane. "Sir, I believe last time we did have an agreement?" He said.
He stepped back one step and swatted Antony to the ground with his cane. He chuckled. He needed that. He hadn't done anything that forceful in a bit. He looked down at the ground when Antony currently resided.

Anthony stood his ground. "Perhaps we did..." Finally draws the item from his pocket - a handgun. "Or perhaps you thought we did..."

The beadle backed up a few steps. For once, he was scared. He didn't show it though. "Sir, you do understand if you shoot me, it is the end of your life as well. You will be hung by the neck untill you are dead." He said. Enforcing that Judge Turpin. If he had killed Turpin, then, Anthony would have all that he wanted. He would have Johanna. He couldn't let that happen. "Sir, put the gun down."

Johanna made her way up to her room, sighing. She rushed quickly up there to watch what was happening from afar. She knew her father was going to lecture her, but she would ignore him, as usual.
