I think it'd be easier if Pirelli was dead. o__o I'm sorry, it just makes it really akward for Nellie in particular- does she, or dosen't she adopt Toby?

Pirelli wins and you know it, Marie.

I'm not saying that he dosen't, I'm saying that if he's alive that it's hard to pinpoint where in the story we are.

Pirelli can manage without Toby.

Okay, then how did Nellie first get the idea for Sweeney to kill people and then for her to use the meat?

Dear, do we have to go line for line from the movie?

Considering that I've only seen the movie and read the book, being disgusted with Nellie at the begining of the play.

...Just keep him in? I mean, he sets some plottage in motion.

I hate to like, bend what everyone else says, but I honestly don't think we need one. It does make it quite confusing.

@marie; How typical. You hate the Nellie play, yet you roleplay Mrs. Lovett. Where do you think she muscally originated?
@claire; I agree. We need him for roleplay matters. It doesn't NEED to be all about Mrs. Lovett. If someone wants to be Pirelli after Toby was taken in, it's not awkward. People in London have lives. It wasn't like Toby's that important to Pirelli anyway.
@beadle; How does it make things confusing?
On a final note; I want him to stay.

I do agree with Rose on this one. We need a Pirelli.
Otherwise we have no: A: No throat-slitting jazz where Sweeney's plan is set in motion. B: No 'meat' pies. C: ....Sweeney won't think of killing as many peeps as possible since he didn't kill Pirelli.

And Pirelli could be trying to blackmail Sweeney some one. Who knows? It's like saying we don't need a Lucy. She confuses the plot, some say, but there really wouln't be anything Sweeney would bitch about now would there?

'Cept for Johanna, but it's more about Lucy than anything, no?

Get rid of me, why don't you? Instead of Pirelli.

OH HELL NO-THEN ANTHONY--
See what we're getting at here? Each character has a role-no matter how big or small that role may be. Each are dominoes in a game, and by taking away one, you take away from the big picture.
One domino is pushed, and it sets things in motion.
Alright?
